How to Set Up IPTV on Apple TV

Apple TV supports IPTV player apps directly through its App Store — no sideloading or MAC registration required, unlike Samsung or LG Smart TVs. IPTV Smarters Pro has a dedicated tvOS version, making setup as simple as any other Apple TV app install.

Step-by-step setup

1. Open the App Store on your Apple TV home screen.
2. Search for "IPTV Smarters Pro" and select Get to install it (it's free).
3. Open the app and choose "Login with Xtream Codes API" or load your M3U playlist URL.
4. Enter the credentials your provider sent you.
5. Wait for the channel list to sync, then start watching from the Live TV tab.

Do you need an Apple ID?

Yes — like any Apple TV app, installation goes through the App Store, which requires a signed-in Apple ID. This is the same account already set up on the device; no separate account is needed for IPTV itself.
